IT security and NIS2 compliance

A single breach can stop operations, expose customer data and damage the reputation you have built. We put layered defences in place, help you meet NIS2, and run our own company to ISO 27001.

Security is a business risk, not an IT problem

The most common attacks are not technical curiosities. They go straight at your revenue and your ability to work.

Financial loss

Ransomware and data theft lead to costly downtime, recovery work and legal fees.

Stopped operations

Malware can halt production, sales and service until systems are cleaned and restored.

Damaged reputation

A public breach of customer data costs trust that takes years to win back.

Fines and liability

GDPR and NIS2 set legal obligations, with penalties for companies — and accountability for their management.

NIS2 readiness, step by step

The EU NIS2 directive sets cybersecurity obligations for medium and large companies in sectors such as energy, transport, healthcare, manufacturing, food, waste management and digital services. It requires risk management measures, makes management accountable for them, and sets deadlines for reporting serious incidents — the first warning within 24 hours.

  1. Scope checkWe confirm whether NIS2 applies to you, and in which category.
  2. Gap assessmentWe compare your systems, processes and policies with the requirements.
  3. RemediationWe implement the technical measures and prioritise the rest by risk.
  4. Policies and reportingWe help you write the policies, incident procedures and staff training.

Layered defence

No single product is enough. We combine several layers, so that if one is challenged the others hold, and we keep them updated against new threats.

We work with security platforms from:

  • Palo Alto Networks
  • Fortinet
  • Sophos
  • Cisco

Next-generation firewalls

Common questions

How do I know if NIS2 applies to my company?

It depends mainly on your sector and size. Medium and large companies in the sectors listed in the directive are usually in scope, and some smaller ones are too. We can check this in a short call.

Can you work with the firewall and equipment we already have?

Yes. We start from what you have and recommend replacing equipment only where it no longer protects you or is out of vendor support.

What does a security assessment involve?

We review your network, devices, remote access, backups and key processes, then give you a written report with risks ranked by impact and the steps to fix them.

Do we need ISO 27001 to comply with NIS2?

No, NIS2 does not require certification. But ISO 27001 covers much of the same ground, so it is a practical framework to build on.
